Synergy Massage and Wellness is located at 500 E. Sharon Ave. near the top of the hill in Houghton next to RPM Secure Self Storage and near the water tower. We have plenty of convenient off street parking, are located just a mile from Michigan Tech Campus, and we are handicap accessible.
Mary Angela “Angel” Janssen is a nationally certified massage therapist in practice for over 20 years. Angel is a master level La Stone therapist and certified instructor of La Stone Therapy, a reflexologist and 2nd Degree Reiki Practitioner. The focus of her practice is Health Maintenance, Stress Reduction and Pain Relief. With additional training in massage for people living with cancer, geriatric massage and massage for the medically frail.
Adrienne Hilman is a nationally certified massage therapist and graduate of the Institute of Natural Therapies in Hancock, MI. Adrienne gives both therapeutic and relaxation massage. She has a deep love and appreciation for the healing power of body work and aims to facilitate the body’s capacity to be healed. Adrienne incorporates various massage techniques into her sessions, based on client needs, to achieve the best possible outcome and experience.
Teresa Stachowiak LMT,NCBTMB is a graduate of The Institute of Natural Therapies. She specializes in Myofascial Therapy (John Barnes Technique). Her passion is to help her clients relieve chronic pain, release scar tissue and improve restricted range of motion.
Myofascial Therapy applies light, sustained pressure to soften the fascia, which is the connective tissue web woven throughout the body. This gentle bodywork is deeply effective as well as deeply relaxing. It addresses muscles, bones, tendons and nerves.
